Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms out there!!!!!

This is a non related horse post . Today I heard 2 grown ass adult women (ahead of me in line at the pharmacy) picking on their friend for being a gamer at 35 years old . This irritated me past all patience . You know what ? I’m a gamer as well ! Yep , I am a late 40’s woman gamer . I freaking love World of Warcraft . Been playing for over 12 years . For the Horde! It’s my happy place . I have a whole community of friends on there and could spend hours telling you about the mechanics of PvP . Or write a book on the lore based in the game . This stigma people have against those who find joy in things not considered the norm is crazy . What does it hurt if someone collects Pokemon ( is that still a thing?) or a plays D&D , or enjoys making Breyer horse models , or whatever your passion is . This hurts no one . In my opinion finding joy in your day is a must . Do you like to knit hats for dinosaurs ? Cool ! Do you like to bird watch and pretend it’s a soap opera ? Good for you ! Do you like to color in coloring books or do that jeweled art thing? Nice job!
My point is these things should be celebrated and encouraged not made fun of . How boring would this world be if we all did and liked the same things . Ok that’s my speech lol.
