Slamlandia

It's that time again, folks! Slamlandia is in qualifying season from now until next February.

You'll be awarded a certain number of points depending on how you rank at our upcoming poetry slams. Points will be tallied over the months to determine finalists. This starts at our July Literary Arts slam and will continue till next year (the final qualifying slam of the season will be announced in advance). More information on our Indie Finals and Grand Slam will be shared in the coming months!

Charlie Evans (he/they) is engaged in a eternal battle with a six foot rainbow snake that lives in his pants. But when he's not doing that, he writes poetry. His first chapbook, “Gay Sex” traces his journey from sexual abuse to q***r liberation and was released by Sibling Rivalry Press this June. He grew up in rural New Jersey, graduated from Virginia Tech and spent two summers thru-hiking the east and west coast. He currently lives in Bellingham, Washington.
