Eugene Literary Event!
Via the University of Oregon: Memoir and Creative Nonfiction writer Greg Marshall will be giving a reading and Q&A on Tuesday May 20th at 7 p.m. at the Knight Library Browsing Room. He is the inaugural speaker for the newly established Betsy Wheeler Disability Studies Speaker Series.
Marshall is the author of the hilarious, award-winning memoir Leg, which grapples with family, disability, and coming of age as a gay man living with cerebral palsy.
Leg was listed among the best nonfiction books of the year by The Washington Post, NPR, USA Today, LitHub, Esquire, and was a finalist for a 2023 Lambda Literary Prize. This event is hosted by the Disability Studies Program at the University of Oregon.
