Come join the gaggle of growers at Mt. Joy Orchard for a SEASON WRAP-UP WORK PARTY to help tuck in the orchard for the winter. We're hoping for a good turn out (looking at you, peeps from the cider pressing!) so we can head into the cooler months with some good energy. As always, work parties are open to those who are looking to get involved in organizing/community work, those looking to learn more about care for the land, and those who just want something to do for a few hours!
Tasks to be completed/learned:
-installing tree guards
-removing silage tarp for future blueberry planting
-general cleanup
-dry flower collecting? bulb planting? any other ideas people may want to bring!
See you there :)
