Some of you remember my friend of 25 years, Andy. I featured him in our 2022 marathon doc. I wrote about him in my new book but forgot to tell him. He ordered a copy and sent me this text. As an author I feel an incredible weight to tell a story well partially because I’m not just telling my story. I’m weaving together a tapestry of many people’s stories. Nothing makes me happier than when the people who know me and my story are proud. Sometimes I struggle with how to be a good friend but this made me feel like the best thing I can do is shine my light in the best way I know how and just do my think.
