Big milestone year over here 🎉🎊🍾

This year, 24 students I had the privilege to coach and mentor earned 28 Service Academy appointments and 20 ROTC scholarships. What an incredible group. Their success reflects the discipline, hard work, and commitment they brought to the process every step of the way. (academician)

Every student’s path was different, but the most successful ones shared three things:• self-discipline• a strong work ethic• a clear plan for success (academician)

Some earned multiple appointments or scholarships. Others earned one hard-fought appointment — and that one is just as meaningful. This kind of outcome does not happen by accident. It comes from consistent effort in academics, athletics, leadership, and preparation. (academician)

If you’re hoping to earn a Service Academy appointment or ROTC scholarship, the right plan matters. Start early, stay disciplined, and keep moving forward.

Often, my students focus on the selection 'weightings' used by the Air Force Academy and the other US service academies. My advice is simple: maximize all that you can. The three main areas are: academics, athletics and activities. With an added focus to seek leadership opportunities in all three areas.
