Today in our Chinese science class, the children learned about how light travels. They used a paper cup, clear tape, markers, and a flashlight to make a simple projector. By shining the light through the cup, they saw their drawings appear on the floor. The children discovered that light travels in a straight line, that pictures can look bigger or smaller depending on distance, and that images are clearer in a darker room. This fun hands-on activity helped them begin to understand basic ideas about light.
