If this weekend's ITT was any indicator, Remco is in amazing shape and ready to try and take back the jersey. Tadej has been training hard, MVdP is in fierce condition and would love to repeat, and the whole cast of characters are ready to try for glory.

And then it was Primoz. One beautiful stage where his RedBull BORA teammates helped control the chaos, and Roglic flew to the mountain tops. After almost two weeks of Ben O'Connor in the Red Jersey, it lands squarely on the solid shoulders of a past champion. Will Primoz hold on to this prize? It's his to lose, though with 1:54 over O'Connor and 2:20 over a splendid Enric Mas, it would require a serious catastrophe to see anyone else take the top step. What a wonderful Vuelta. WAtch the Queen stage tomorrow and revel in the ITT rolling into Madrid on Sunday.
