For those of you who are like us at Escapist Reality and have powerful PCs and laptops for work, gaming or both, there is a way in which all of us can leverage those machines to aid in the fight against Coronavirus.

Folding@home (FAH or F@h), a distributed computing project for disease research, has Coronavirus specific projects available (with more to come).

You set the software to run while you are idle, or even while you are working, and you can control how much resources to commit. The software then leverages your excess machine resources to aid in extremely complex calculations. This is another powerful way in which we can help fight the global impact of the virus.
