PAM CUT Cinema Unbound Week kicked with a celebration of art and cinematic storytelling taking place through May 31st. As a new member of the committee, I’m excited to support the cultural work of institutions like in nurturing the arts for our local community. I’m looking forward to a weekend full of programming and I hope you can join!
Attendees can expect film, food, music, comedy, and conversation across Portland for 5 days as well as the annual Cinema Unbound Awards honoring the significant contributions of visionary creators.
Be sure to check out the , which runs May 29-31st from 11am - 7pm. For more than 40 years, the Criterion Collection has been the gold standard in film preservation. This event is open to everyone, no ticket required!
This is the final week to experience “Emergence”, featuring Yulia Pinkusevich and Cathy Lu, alongside “Tidal Traces” by Stella Zhang

Explore the early work of the celebrated California artist Viola Frey in “Viola Frey: Foundations,” an exhibition tracing her trajectory from two-dimensional works to large scale sculpture beginning in the mid-70s.
Works for this exhibition were selected from various private and institutional collections as well as from those held by the Artists’ Legacy Foundation.
The exhibition will be on view January 10 - April 5, 2026 with an opening reception on January 10th from 5-7pm
