The dangerous thing about jowls?
Most people think it’s the jowl itself.
It’s not.
The real danger is that some of the most popular treatments being used to “fix” jowls can actually make them look worse.
In this clip, you’ll see a woman instantly pull her face back and erase her jowls.
You’ll also see a news anchor catch his reflection on camera and immediately start mewing.
Why?
Because almost everyone notices lower-face sagging before they notice anything else.
But here’s what many people don’t realize:
Not all jowls are created equal.
Facial fat loss, skin laxity, ligament changes, bone remodeling, and even certain energy-based treatments can all contribute in very different ways.
Treat the wrong cause, and sometimes the result is more heaviness, more hollowness, or an even less defined jawline.
Next week I’ll release a complete video breaking down the biggest mistakes people make with jowls, the treatments that can help, the ones that can hurt, and how I analyze them after 25 years of studying facial aging.
Have you noticed your jawline changing?
Everyone wants tighter skin.
Nobody wants to lose the fat that keeps them looking young.
That’s why the future of skin tightening is moving into the home.
This is bipolar RF heating technology. The same category of technology we’ve used in clinics for years is now being designed for home use with built-in safety systems, temperature controls, and automatic shutoffs.
Why does that matter?
Because one of the biggest concerns with aggressive energy treatments is unintended fat loss.
And not all fat is bad.
In fact, facial and neck fat are critical for a youthful appearance.
The fat under your jawline (submental fat) is different from the structural fat within the neck itself.
Too much submental fat can create fullness under the chin.
But the deeper fat compartments of the face and neck help support the skin and maintain youthful contours.
Lose too much of that support and people can look older, more hollow, and less healthy.
The goal isn’t maximum heating.
The goal is controlled heating.
Enough energy to stimulate collagen and improve skin quality, while staying within safe temperature ranges.
That’s why modern home devices use sensors, temperature monitoring, and automatic shutoffs to help prevent overheating.
The future isn’t just tighter skin.
It’s smarter skin tightening.
Protecting collagen while respecting the structures that keep us looking youthful.
Because looking younger isn’t about removing everything.
It’s about preserving the right things.
“Remember... neck fat and under-chin fat are not the same thing. One may age you. The other may actually help keep you looking young.”
