Hello to everyone! my name is Winter (yes, that is my real name) and I am the program manager for Soul River and Love is King. I hesitate to say “new” because I’ve been part of SRI for 4 years, as a board member (working in the background) and now as the PM.

I‘m a 8-year Naval nuclear operator veteran. I wasn’t born doing things in the outdoors. I‘m a bit of a late bloomer. My journey began in 2015, while I was a micro-chip researcher for Intel corp.

During the last 11-years, a lot has happened to bring me here to SRI. I’ve served as an archery, hunting, fishing, and fi****ms instructor for the department of Oregon Fish and Wildlife. I also currently sit on the Oregon State Board of Fishing Restoration and Enhancement. So, when it comes to the outdoors, cooking and/or smoking food, I’m you man.
