We're halfway through the year. Is your pet due for a wellness exam?

Routine checkups are one of the best ways to support your pet's long-term health. Even pets that seem healthy can benefit from regular veterinary visits.

A wellness exam gives your veterinary team the opportunity to:
→ Monitor your pet's overall health and well-being
→ Discuss nutrition, weight, and lifestyle changes
→ Ensure vaccinations are up to date
→ Review parasite prevention needs
→ Identify potential health concerns before they become more serious

If it's been a while since your pet's last exam, now is a great time to schedule a visit and keep them on track for a healthy year ahead.

When was your pet's last wellness exam?

You haven't met Tommy Salami yet... and frankly, that's our fault. 😂

A little while ago, Dr. Kimball rescued a tiny kitten who needed a helping hand. He wasn't with us for very long before finding his forever home, so we never got the chance to officially introduce him.

Well... meet Tommy Salami.

Thankfully, his owner Jennifer has been keeping us supplied with Tommy Salami updates, and we're happy to report that he's thriving, making friends, and embracing an appropriate amount of kitten chaos. 😂

Swipe through for a glimpse into the very busy life of Tommy Salami.

❤️ Every clinic has that one patient.

For Marlee, it's Biscuit.

During her recent visit, Biscuit enjoyed plenty of attention, cozy blankets, and some quality snuggle time with one of her biggest fans.

One of the best parts of veterinary medicine is the relationships we build with our patients. Watching pets grow comfortable with our team and seeing those bonds develop over time is something truly special.

It's safe to say Biscuit has secured a permanent spot in Marlee's fan club. ❤️

Does your dog make a beeline for the water? 🌊

A day at the river, lake, or pool can be a great summer adventure, but not every dog is a natural swimmer!

Keep your pup safer around the water by supervising them closely, watching for strong currents, using a properly fitted canine life jacket when appropriate, and always bringing fresh drinking water.

Never force a nervous dog into the water, and remember to give your pup plenty of breaks.

Save this for your next summer adventure and share it with a fellow dog parent!

Holiday Reminder!

We will be closed on Saturday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day and will reopen Monday, July 6th at 8:00 AM.

As you celebrate, remember that fireworks can be stressful for pets. Keep pets safely indoors, make sure ID tags are current, and double-check that your pet's microchip information is up to date.

Have a safe and happy holiday weekend!
