Job Title: Building User Manager

Qualifications: Self-starter, detail-oriented person who is able to independently track and complete weekly, monthly and annual tasks required for the operation of the church. Excellent writing skills and communication skills are required. Training will be provided for software and office equipment required. Ability to adapt to changing needs and updating methods or procedures are needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: The Building Use Manager is the point of contact for building users leasing the space. Responsibilities include coordinating access to the building, forwarding maintenance requests, keeping lease contracts current, and collecting rent payments.

Schedule and Working Conditions: This position is budgeted for 10 hours per week. These hours are flexible, but must be consistent and predictable. Many of the tasks can be performed remotely. There are weekly tasks that do require presence in the church building.

Compensation and Benefits: This position has a range of $20/hr - $24/hr depending on experience. No benefits other than unemployment and social security are covered. There is an option to pay into a 403b retirement account. There is also the opportunity to engage with the Professional Administrators of the United Methodist Connectional Structure which is a professional organization that offers support and training for church administrators.

Training and Assigning Work: This position will include a 2 month training period at full pay rate.
