One of our favorite parts of every market weekend? Meeting the cats behind the orders.

This weekend we saw familiar feline faces from customers who have been shopping with us for years, shared stories about favorite toys, and watched cats add to their growing CatnipTakeout collections. 🛍️

But the moment that melted us? A 9-week-old kitten picking out their very first toy. 🥹 Tiny paws, endless zoomies, and the start of what we hope is a lifetime of play.

After 15+ years of cats choosing us, moments like these never get old. From lifelong toy collectors to first-time kittens, thank you for letting us be part of your cats’ stories.

After 15+ years of cats choosing us… apparently Vancouver chose us too.

I had NO idea CatnipTakeout was featured inside an “Explore Vancouver Washington” guidebook until a customer walked into the booth and flipped to the page. I genuinely thought they were about to ask where the bathroom was. 💀

Little moments like this hit different when you’ve spent years hauling tents in the rain, setting up before sunrise, sewing toys late at night, and building something one cat family at a time.

Still wrapping my head around this one. 🥹🛍️

Some cats panic. Ele Ele starts engineering solutions. 🐈‍⬛⚡

Ele Ele accidentally got caught in a Trader Joe’s bag today. Did she freeze? Nope. Did she ask for help? Absolutely not.

Instead, Chaos Queen immediately switched into tiny bada$$ problem solver mode and figured out her own escape route. One minute: trapped. Next minute: “Stand back everyone, I’ve got this.” 😹

This is the same kitten energy that investigates first and asks questions never. Honestly, I’m starting to think she sees every minor inconvenience as an extreme sport.
