To commemorate 4 years of community e-bike rides, we’ll be going out strong with a special ride - we’ll be heading up Rocky Butte to meet up with the long-standing Rocky Butte Sunset Picnic Ride. Bring your blankets, snacks to share, bug repellent (you won’t regret it!), and your dancing shoes! This will be the last of Nomad’s monthly e-bike ride because starting in July our monthly ride will welcome ALL bikes and be known as - All Wheels Welcome: A Nomad Community Ride. This ride will continue to happen on the third Wednesday of the month but will start meeting at the Adaptive BIKETOWN location near OMSI, which Nomad is taking over! E-bikes are still very much welcome, but this ride is about accessible, joyful, low-pressure cycling for everybody: e-bikes, adaptive bikes, trikes, handcycles, cargo bikes, analog bikes, and anyone who wants to ride at a pace that allows for chatting with fellow cyclists and taking in the beauty of Portland.

This Portland Rides E-Bike Rebate Program prioritizes access for Portland low-income communities. It is designed to support a cleaner and more equitable future through affordable electric transportation.
E-bikes offer a healthy and low-cost way to get around. Whether you are commuting to work or school, taking kids to an activity, or running errands, e-bikes can make daily travel easier. However, the high cost of a new e-bike can be a challenge. This program helps reduce that barrier by offering rebates.
Funded by the Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund (PCEF), the program is intended to:
Make e-bikes more affordable for low- and moderate-income households and PCEF priority populations
Support healthier and more connected communities
Help Portland reduce greenhouse gas emissions
Improve transportation access and mobility equity throughout the city
