This Portland Rides E-Bike Rebate Program prioritizes access for Portland low-income communities. It is designed to support a cleaner and more equitable future through affordable electric transportation.
E-bikes offer a healthy and low-cost way to get around. Whether you are commuting to work or school, taking kids to an activity, or running errands, e-bikes can make daily travel easier. However, the high cost of a new e-bike can be a challenge. This program helps reduce that barrier by offering rebates.
Funded by the Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund (PCEF), the program is intended to:
Make e-bikes more affordable for low- and moderate-income households and PCEF priority populations
Support healthier and more connected communities
Help Portland reduce greenhouse gas emissions
Improve transportation access and mobility equity throughout the city

3 things that make early season rides feel easier 🚲
1️⃣ Start slower than you think
Your body is rebuilding endurance after winter.
2️⃣ Shift earlier on hills
Save your legs before the climb gets steep.
3️⃣ Drink water sooner than usual
Cool spring weather can hide dehydration.
Small adjustments can make a big difference in how your ride feels. 🙌
