Today from 4-6pm, Radio To This World hosted by Sappho is broadcasting Disco Reggae, Dancehall & Dub of Jamaica (Happy 420!!!). In 2003, the same year I packed up my life and moved to Portland, released Melody AM. I don’t think I took it out of rotation for years. There was something about that record that felt like hope. It soundtracked some of the most formative moments of my early life in this city.
Twenty-three years later, I get to open for them on a sold out night at .pdx alongside my dear friend . I genuinely can’t believe this is real.

I truly feel that every DJ gig I have had the honor to perform this year has truly been a gift and I feel quite blessed that I have few more great parties coming up to tell y’all about.
