In this exercise we are creating an association with the Marker Word.

Charge up the Marker Word

Step 1. Train a reliable sit and stay
Step 2. Place your dog in a sit stay as you prepare their meal time enrichment toy.
Step 3. Place bowl on the floor and use a release cue “go get it”
Step 4. Pat yourself on the back for turning mealtimes into training and enrichment opportunities for you and your pup.

Take every opportunity to train and enrich your pup’s life. Dogs need mental exercise as much as physical, the benefits are a much happier pup with less opportunity to create their own “fun.”
