Coming to the POIC + RAHS commencement at Portland State University on Saturday? Here are some tips on transit and parking:

-- The Viking Pavilion at the Peter W. Stott Center is accessible by MAX train (Yellow/Orange and Green Max stop at PSU's Urban Plaza) and several bus routes.
-- The South Park Blocks are home to the Portland Farmers’ Market from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. Street parking in the vicinity of the Viking Pavilion will be limited before 2, but garage space should be available.
-- You can find campus garage parking in PSU’s Parking Structure 3 just off I-405 (Exit SW 12th from I-405 or turn right onto SW 13th from OR 26) or in PS1 with entrances at SW 6th & Hall and SW Broadway & Harrison. (see the map).

Also:
— The TriMet streetcar loop crosses the campus three blocks from the Viking Pavilion.
— There is bike parking on campus.
— The SW Park Ave street loop west of SW Broadway and Jackson is drop-off only at the Viking Pavilion entrance.

Interested in holding a conference, event, trade show, sporting event or other activity at Viking Pavilion on the Portland State University campus?

Like most facilities in Portland we are still waiting for Covid-19 guidelines to permit large group meetings. Patiently, we might add. Helping slow the spread of the coronavirus is as important to us as making sure folks have a great time at Viking Pavilion in the Peter W. Stott Center.

However, if you are making plans for an event in the not-so-near future, our staff is at work maintaining the facility and talking to planners about their scheduling hopes.
