🏳️‍🌈 No one should have to choose between being themselves and having enough to eat.

LGBTQ+ community members experience higher rates of food insecurity, and local food pantries are seeing the need grow.

As Brent Blackwell of Esther's Pantry shares, "We're seeing probably a 25% increase per day of the number of new folks that are accessing the services at our food pantries. It's really a trend that seems to be moving up, and the food supply is going down."

Esther's Pantry, a program of CAP Northwest, provides a welcoming, affirming space where LGBTQ+ neighbors can access food and other essential resources with dignity.
