We recently joined Energy Solutions at the Nebraska Electric Rural Association Hotline School in Norfolk, NE — an incredible training opportunity where linemen refined real-world skills and put the Sonetics wireless communication system to the test.

From our traditional headsets with hearing protection for high-noise environments, to the Sonetics Connect — with bone conducting headphones and a Bluetooth speaker that keeps the linemen in the bucket connected without covering their ears — crews experienced what seamless communication on the job site can look like.

We joined Sauvie Island Fire on their airboat to put our wireless communication headsets to the test in one of the loudest environments crews face.

Before, engine noise made it nearly impossible for crews to communicate with each other on the boat — or with their lieutenant back on the dock. Now, with Sonetics wireless headsets, they can:
