First time cooking at Redwood
I’ve been dreaming up a dinner that bridges my Caribbean roots with the bold, fresh flavors of Lao cooking. On September 26th, we’re setting the tables for a one-night-only mashup: smoky poussin, sticky rice, herbs piled high, tamarind, coconut, and more.
This isn’t just about food; it’s about bringing people together, passing plates, and celebrating flavor in the community.

Trying something new and selling these tasty Jamican Beef Patties with house curry to dip (OG Patties and Dip) all summer long!

I’ve been posted up at good ol’ tinkertavern in Montavilla, back behind the bar and having a blast. The crew running the place? Straight-up amazing. And big love to the homies who’ve moved on to new projects—y’all set the bar high.
Meanwhile, Grassroots Food PDX has taken on a new shape. Fewer public events, more private dinners, and curated moments that hit different. Keeping it intimate, keeping it special.
But every now and then, I gotta open the doors and throw down for the community. That’s where PROJECT JAM comes in.
