The Portland Buckeyes

We want to share some important changes to how the terms of the annual membership to the Portland Buckeyes will be structured. In an effort to streamline our membership activities and make things more intuitive for our members, we are now implementing a new "membership year" that will run from August 1st - July 31st. This will enable all of our membership to have the same renewal dates, easing both administration for the club and predictability for our members. Here is what this means for you:
· All current memberships (paid on/after January 1, 2026) will expire on July 31st, 2027
· We are asking everyone to renew your membership as soon as possible. Your renewals now will extend your membership through July 31, 2027. Dues are $25 a year and are tax deductible. We do not offer a family membership so each adult person in your family should purchase an individual membership. All members will receive 3 free game watch raffle tickets this season.
· Please remember that there are many "members only" perks that the club provides, including access to game tickets, special membership events and drawings/raffles and extra game watch raffle tickets.

The Club is working hard on creating events that will keep us all connected and help us grow our community of Buckeyes here in the Portland/Vancouver metro area. We hope you'll all continue to join us at as many events as you can, and if you know other Buckeyes who aren't already members, please send them our way!

You can join/renew your tax-deductible membership on-line at: https://portland.alumni.osu.edu.

Please note: you will receive an immediate email receipt(s) from OSU for your paid membership. Please forward a copy of that receipt(s) to our mail group at [email protected]. This will assure that we have you on our list to receive messages about game tickets and events. We can only obtain membership data once a quarter from OSUAA. Anyone that has renewed between January 1st and July 15th do not need to send us a copy of their receipt. We already have their information.

We will be back at the Independent Sports Bar and Grill for the 2026 football season! First game is on Saturday, September 5th at 9:30am Pacific against Ball State.

Portland Alumni Club Welcome home to The Ohio State University. Join more than 600,000 alumni to celebrate Buckeye pride and rich traditions through events, tours, activities.

We had a great turnout for our annual Community Service event at the Vancouver FISH food bank! We sorted 3 full pallets of donated food. Thanks to everyone that showed up to help! Buckeye Strong!🌰🌰💪🏼

A few quick reminders before you arrive at FISH on June 27th

Please have everyone park in our volunteer parking lot, which is located just past FISH on Harney Street. Drive past the FISH building and the gated lot, then turn left into the driveway. Park in the back area and walk through the gate.
Head to the second door and ring the bell. Clark will be there to welcome you, give your group a tour, and get everyone started.
For everyone’s safety and comfort:

Closed-toe shoes are required.
A light jacket is recommended, as the warehouse can sometimes be cool (though lately it’s been anything but!).
We’ll have water, coffee, and tea available, but bringing a reusable water bottle is always a great idea.
That should cover everything! We’re looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday, June 27th and appreciate you spending your time volunteering with us.
