Deering High School Campus Closure: June 29 – July 3

Please note that the Deering High School campus will be completely closed the week of June 29th, and no staff will be on-site. We will reopen on Monday, July 6th.

To ensure the person you need to see is available when we return, please call ahead to schedule an appointment before visiting.

As we head into summer, we are celebrating a historic season at Deering, from our Science Olympiad team taking home a National Spirit Award to honoring the incredible Class of 2026 at our 152nd Commencement Ceremony. Looking ahead, this summer brings important updates regarding student work permits, seasonal healthcare access, and a warm welcome to our incoming principal, Aris Ayala Cruz. We are also preparing for the 2026-27 school year with a new bell schedule that shifts our Learning Center block before lunch.
