We want to take a moment to celebrate our co-founder
Gino Schettini on what would have been his Birthday today. This is a great photo that pre dates Piazza Italia, but we found it appropriate to share it as it was taken when we helped the crew of Il Fornaio while short staffed. The space has been taken over for years now by Elephants delicatessen, which recently had a devastating fire. We hope the city will shift their focus back to helping the few small businesses that still exist like they used to back in the days this photo was taken. We were a community that helped each other prosper and our entrepreneur father would want nothing more than for the city he immigrated to and loved to go back to what it was.
Buon Natale to all our wonderful customers that have supported us over these great 26 years.
Hope you spend time around the table with the people that matter most.
We will be closed Christmas eve and Day and we'll be back on Thursday.
