SENIOR SUNDAY!
Toni
Toni joined CBA at the start of her freshman year of high school. Despite entering CBA later than most, she felt met with a warm welcome upon starting and was happy to call this studio home. She has greatly enjoyed training in contemporary and dabbling in modern and jazz along the way. Some of her favorite memories include Miss Chloe’s Judas jazz piece from a year ago and spending time with friends backstage at all the shows.
Outside of dance, Toni also participated in jiu-jitsu throughout high school. She graduated from Cleveland High School as a full IB diploma student with a 4.3 GPA, and loved serving as CARE Leadership’s Vice President, where she co-lead the student-run class’s activities and conversations surrounding social issues and creating change. She is passionate about serving the people around her, particularly through volunteering with foster parents in need of childcare through her church community. This fall, Toni is attending Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania, where she plans on studying Comparative Literature and Child and Family Studies.
Toni is beyond grateful for her time at CBA that was full of community, growth, and self-discovery. She would like to thank Miss Chloe for always being a kind, bright light, eager to help hone her skill, especially through their summer private lessons together. Toni thanks Miss Lauren and Miss Anna for her short, yet valuable time with them, and of course, Miss Sarah, whose words of encouragement and honest advice are deeply impactful and make her feel seen and heard.
Toni would also like to thank her mom, who has always supported her journey with dance, from lending her eyeshadow palettes for performances to helping her through the anxiety of moving studios. All of it is greatly appreciated, and she couldn’t do any of it without her. And lastly, Toni would like to thank her dear friends, from school and from CBA. They are the reason for joy even on the darkest days.
CBA will miss Toni’s positive attitude, deep wisdom, soulful dancing, and her kindness that radiates in every step she takes. We know you will go on to accomplish great things in the world. Best wishes, Toni!

SENIOR SUNDAY!
Chloe
Chloe has been attending Classical Ballet Academy since she turned 10 and didn’t want her mother as a dance teacher anymore. She started doing ballet at CBA, then contemporary, modern and jazz later. Some of her favorite memories at CBA are volunteering with Inclusive Dance, hanging out with friends in between classes and always Ms. Susan’s classes. Some of her favorite roles that she has performed at CBA are Captain Luisa’s parrot in Peter Pan, Peacock in the Nutcracker, and Winter Fairy in Cinderella this spring.
Some of Chloe’s hobbies include reading, fishing with her dad, baking, volunteering at Bustin’ Barriers and working with neurodivergent kids and adults. This fall she will be attending Oregon State University and majoring in Marine Biology.
Chloe is so grateful to all the teachers that she has learned from throughout her time at CBA. She wants to thank her parents for always driving her to and from the studio and putting up with her horrible moods after a long rehearsal. She is especially grateful for Ms. Susan and her constant encouragement and always making her smile. She is forever grateful for Ms. Sarah who always pushed her to be the best dancer and person that she is today.
CBA will miss Chloe’s big personality, her ability to connect with so many different personalities at CBA, her working at the front desk, her humor, and her beautiful dancing. We know Chloe will find success in anything she puts her heart into. Best wishes Chloe!
