The 2023 Northwest Division Short Jack Tournament is complete and what a great 2 days of competition for the 8 teams from Jefferson Park, Tacoma, King City, and host club Portland. Some amazing images from the event, and of course, the winners!

It was an action packed weekend at the Portland Lawn Bolwing Club! 12 teams from Portland and bowled it out for two days at the Short Jack Tournament. This unique format means you set the pat, and the distance between mat and jack was fixed at 21 meters. It's easier to dial into a distance over two days, but everyone gets that advantage. Bowlers had to face a day and a half of wet, rainy conditions, which made it even more apparent that the level of competition to continues to rise in the division. It's great to see more people than ever joining in these amazing events where we all get to socialize, celebrate wins, and recognize incredible accomplishments like Richard Broad's induction to the Bowls Hall of Fame! The NWD was so lucky to have his leadership and guidance, and we continue to enjoy his incredible bowling skills on the greens of the NWD.
