Just like our natural world, showing itself to us in twists and turns and spirals, our journeys are not meant to be linear. Trauma recovery can be particularly winding. Normalizing the process and managing expectations can help survivors settle into their own unique pathway to recovery. 9/9-9/15: We are going to ITALY! Our next international Trauma Coach Certification Program will happen this week with lots of opportunities to relax, rejuvenate, + make life-long friends. We will teach the basics of working with trauma + will discuss how to integrate coaching + therapy together. 18 CEs will be offered to mental health professionals. NBCC ACEP # 6912

9/15: Athena will be presenting on Dissociation + Ketamine Treatment at the Trauma & Attachment Conference in Rome! Up to 13 ECUs are offered for attending this event.

11/12-11/15: Athena will be presenting at the Global Exchange Conference in Orlando, Florida. The topic is the first of our Learning through Storytelling series called Rwanda: A Portrait of Post-Traumatic Growth. CEs are available for mental health professionals for this event.
