Goodwill - what are we doing?

$10 for some used DVDs? I can buy them new for less than that!

You used to be able to come get DVDs for $2-$3 at any Goodwill. I’ve found many movies for my kids, stuff to watch in the car, or things like Scooby-Doo that are hard to find or impossible to get on any new formats.

But now? $8 for a used Scooby-Doo DVD. $10 for Cinderella? $10 for an Insidious sequel nobody really liked? Who’s pricing this stuff?

Resellers must have something to do with this. I have no evidence, but I blame resellers for all problems with secondhand markets right now.
