You heard it right, temperatures are going to rise this Thursday & Friday. The most likely scenario is that temperatures will be around 95-100° in the Willamette Valley, with the highest temperatures experienced on Friday (what this image shows). The coast and Cascades will be cooler, but will still be warm.

These temperatures are fairly consistent with a 'normal' heatwave for this area this time of year, but don't let that fool you. There is still a risk to sensitive populations, children & pets. Please refer to your local emergency managers for resources available to you.
