EXCITING NEWS: We're nominated in 's Best of Portland awards to defend our crown as Best South Asian Food, plus we're nominated for Best Vegan Restaurant! Thanks to everyone who nominated us. ♥️💛

LESS COOL NEWS: While they all make great food, not a single one of our fellow nominees are South Asian restaurants! Does that mean we win by default? We contacted WW to ask "what's up? last year we were up against other South Asian spots!" and they blamed Portlanders for their poor geography knowledge when nominating, and claimed they have zero editorial control. You wont see a burger place nominated for best pizza, but when it comes to food from places where brown people live, the message is "it's all the same!" Great job , maybe add a Best Southeast Asian Food category instead of this weirdness?

OH AND ALSO, is not a vegan restaurant - in a town with dozens of vegan restaurants, WHY would you allow a non-vegan spot to be nominated for Best Vegan Restaurant? They're perfectly fine in the Best Vegetarian category. Sigh.
or or deserves to be on there.

Anyway, vote for us for Best South Asian Restaurant because we're the only one nominated? And just vote for any of the 4 vegan restaurants for Best Vegan Restaurant because they all make tasty food and these awards have proven to be very silly.

Last year, we were voted 3rd Best Indian Restaurant in the "Best of the Rose City" poll. We joked that this year we’d go for Best Sushi. 😂

Well, we didn’t win Best Sushi... but y’all voted us THE BEST Indian Restaurant in Portland! 🏆
