Each of us at Bridgetown Baby believes that all families deserve the benefits that come from comprehensive doula and feeding support. This year, we’re once again putting the strength of our Mamas Day Campaign behind the important work of Portland New Family Fund , a nonprofit whose mission is to provide financial assistance to low-income parents for birth doulas, postpartum doulas and newborn lactation/feeding services, while ensuring that the professional who support these families are paid a living wage.

Last year, you helped us raise an incredible $7500 and this year we’re upping our game because we know you’re with us - please join us in raising $12,000 this spring to provide even more low-income families with access to doula and lactation care and to support PNFF’s local, state and federal advocacy for better maternal-child health.

When you join us in supporting PNFF, you’re making an immediate, tangible difference in improving maternal and neonatal health outcomes for Portland families.

Examples of the impact of your gift:
$50 one hour of postpartum doula care
$120 postpartum care supplies
$250 one daytime postpartum visit
$1500 postpartum care for one family

We recently received a grant for over $2,000 from the Kate and Victoria Jeans-Gail Fund of Oregon Community Foundation.

This money will go to provide postpartum doula care for a new family with significant systemic obstacles to good health. This care will be transformative for this family.

At PNFF we believe deeply in perinatal support for all families. We are so grateful others do too.
