Time to catch up with you all šŸ¤

These last two months have been the most beautiful and rewarding days of my life. Nothing has felt more natural and fulfilling than becoming a mother and I am so grateful for the absolute gift that is my son!

During this time off I do miss flowers, I miss creating and working hard every day with one of my best friends, and I miss the excitement of taking such an impactful yet fleeting symbol of one’s wedding and preserving it into meaningful art.

I’ve had many reach out to ask when I’m coming back and so I figured it’s time to share a couple of updates!

Our little family is moving to Florida this summer! After falling in love with the PNW and our community here, I never could’ve imagined this day would come but duty calls. I will miss my local wedding vendor community and consider myself blessed to have been a part of such a unique and incredible force of creative entrepreneurs who never cease to inspire me. This business would not have become what it has without the amazing connections I’ve made and don’t take for granted! I’m excited to follow along your journeys in this wild and beautiful industry. It is certainly not for the faint of heart.

As for Florals Preserved, there will be a continued break as I raise this little one, and I’m excited to pick back up again on a smaller scale in the future. The business has truly been all-consuming in the best ways, so stepping aside to focus all my time and attention on my baby has given me the space to rest from the hustle and dream again. I’ll definitely announce any updates here when I’m ready šŸ¤

Thank you all for your sweet words of encouragement and support! I can’t wait to create again, and hope to have some fun developments in the not so distant future! Hopefully it will include a long-awaited tan šŸ˜‰āœØ

✨Announcement Time!✨

I’m so thrilled to share that this New Year I’ll be entering the beautiful chapter of motherhood. This spring, Aaron and I will be welcoming our baby boy, and we can’t wait to embark on this journey together.

I’ve been very intentional about staying quiet on here for a couple of reasons:

Firstly, we’ve had an overwhelming response to our offerings since we officially launched full-time a year ago! It’s been an absolute JOY to work with over 120 beautiful couples to preserve their bouquets into art this season. We needed to cap our orders sooner than expected to make sure we could pour all our love and care into each order we already had in place. Every time I’d post on Instagram, I’d see new inquiries come in, and it’d break my heart to turn them away! So, I just stopped posting to minimize that, haha.

Secondly, when I found out I was pregnant, I knew I’d need to think carefully about how to approach the 2024 season with a newborn. After a lot of thought and consideration, I’ve decided to take a break from taking on any new floral preservation orders in 2024 so I can fully focus on being a new mom.

Emily and I have been working hard on our remaining orders from the 2023 season, and it’s been bittersweet as our queue gets smaller and smaller. We’ve had such an amazing, fun, and exciting year flowering together, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

I can’t wait to share all the stunning pieces we’ve created this season, soon! It’s been an incredible year for Florals Preserved, and such an honor to have gained the trust of so many to preserve such an important piece of your journeys. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Much love,

Jess Lynne ✨

Detail shots are so important. They allow you to truly feel like you can enter back into the story of your day and remember all the little things that added up to make it so special.

Give me all the deets!

Thanks, for these gems šŸ¤
