Alright y’all, we’ve been dealing with some real curveballs here. We’re still figuring out if we’ll be able to host a couple final shows. ‼️ That being said, pencil in Saturday + Sunday for some ripper live bands. They’ve been on standby while we figure this all out. Trust me, you don’t want to miss these. We’ll announce the lineups later today once we get the green light. Phew, we’re exhausted. Closing a venue is tough. Please support us however you can because it’s also *expensive*. There’s a gofundme in our bio if you can throw a few bucks. It all helps. ✌️
Also, reach out if you or someone you know is interested in taking over the space. It’s gorgeous + turnkey. Email [email protected]

Bummer to have to cancel this show last min, but stoked we were able to combine it with a killer bill at 🎸 Head over there now and see some really incredible bands. Thanks for helping out 🙏

✨Touching on respected, familiar genres and sounds while attempting to advance one’s own isn’t easy but No Joy’s new LP, Bugland, manages to. What genre is it anyway? Is it even shoegaze when it could live happily on a shelf next to Boards of Canada and Autechre? The right answer is ‘yes’. What a lovely shelf ‘twould be as well. A marble shelf, with cyberpunk elements. She is joined by Shaki Tavi and Death Doula.

It’s with a heavy heart that we announce that Lollipop Shoppe will be closing around Thanksgiving. Like a lot of small businesses, we’ve been struggling to make ends meet as operating costs continue to rise. We put every part of us into this venue + it’s hard to say goodbye, but we need to restore our personal + financial balance.
There have been many incredible moments in the three years we’ve been in operation and we hope you’ll join us for a few more before our final curtain call.
This week we’ll be announcing a series of farewell shows featuring some of our favorite artists. You can help make these final shows possible by donating to the GoFundMe in our bio. This money will be used to help cover some of the costs of these shows. It’s been an honor to host so many of you + we hope to see you over these next few weeks.
We’ll be operating with limited hours and only opening at 7p on event days. Please check our website for a current list of upcoming events.
