Fall vibes!
This jaunty Mazer Bros. brooch anticipates the Retro design movement. A pert little bow is tied around the shaft of a stylized feather; two-tone costume metal emphasizes the three dimensional piece’s depth. Dazzling white rhinestones accentuate the brooch’s dynamic lines. As we often see in Mazer Bros. jewels, organic and industrial forms come together to make an interesting aesthetic statement. This large brooch has a long rollover pin, the piece is ideal for wear on heavier fabrics. Circa 1930.
Mazer Bros, founded by Lincoln and Joseph Mazer in 1927 in New York, produced fine costume jewelry until the late 1970s. Early pieces were signed Mazer Bros, later pieces were signed either Mazer or Jomaz.

Long, slender Swarovski crystal drop earrings with Art Deco flair, by Eisenberg. Rows of bright round crystals fall gracefully from the silver-tone earrings’ clip-on tops. Marquis-cut stones glisten at the earrings’ base. Eisenberg’s signature rhinestone flourishes curl in between the crystals, adding a soft glitter to the crystals’ flashing sparkle. Movement and light bring these dramatic earrings to life. Signed on the back with a cursive “E” for Eisenberg. Circa 1930.

An Art Deco era Chinese ring, rich with exquisite details. The top of the silver gilt filigree ring is a flattened dome, crowned with a carved jade disc. The round jade piece may have originally been a button, it is drilled with two small holes. Colorful enamel flowers and other designs frame the jade, applied to ring’s lacy surface. The tapered band bears filigreed flowers on the shoulders, it’s lovely from every angle. Like many Chinese rings, it is adjustable in size as the shank is open. What a delicate beauty. Circa 1920.
