Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about wedding fashion beyond the dress; the welcome dinner, the bridal tea, all those special moments that deserve their own outfit moment.
This gorgeous light melon gown by (aptly named “Melonie”) is exactly the kind of piece that makes a bridal tea feel magical. It was such a joy to photograph.
So if you’re still on the fence about going all out for your pre-wedding events ✨consider this your sign. Do it. You won’t regret it.

May arrives and with it, the kind of excitement that’s hard to put into words.🤍

2027 & 2028 destination wedding weekends are officially open ✈️ passport ready, a deep love for somewhere new, and a camera that’s ready for all of it. West coast dates are always open too, because I know these mountains, these coastlines, this light and happily call it home.

If your date is on the horizon or you know someone that just got engaged, I would love to hear all about it🤍🤍🤍

Seattle Engagement Session | Washington Park Arboretum + Lake Washington

One of my favorite things about shooting in Seattle is that no two sessions ever look the same — this city has so many layers to it. We started the evening at the Washington Park Arboretum, which if you haven’t been, is this sprawling 230-acre garden tucked right into the middle of the city. In the summer the light comes through the tree canopy in the most ridiculous way, and we just wandered until we found our spots.

But then came the part I’m still thinking about. We made our way down to the water and boarded Comet — a hand-crafted wooden boat that is genuinely a work of art. There’s a whole community of classic wooden boat enthusiasts on Lake Washington, and getting to photograph on one felt like stepping into another era entirely. Cruising the lake at golden hour with the Cascades in the distance and these two curled up on the stern… I mean, come on.

I can’t WAIT for their wedding weekend!

If you’re planning an engagement session and want something that actually reflects you and the place you love — let’s talk. Seattle has so much more to offer!
