To our sisters, friends, family, and community,

As a nation, we are experiencing uncertain and difficult times. Our hearts are broken for George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and the countless others who have lost their lives because of the color of their skin. As the Delta Omicron Chapter, we recognize these experiences and the disparities experienced by black individuals.
This is not a time for silence. Alpha Chi Omega values agency, empowerment, and strong leadership—all of which are particularly important during these difficult times. It is fundamental that we stand by the black community, who are frequently left out of conversations of equality and equity within our country. Ultimately, we recognize that the path to solidarity is unique to each individual but we remain in allyship with all individuals regardless of race, gender, s*xuality, or any other identity.

To our leaders and allies, please use your platform for good. If you are able, please donate, speak up, vote, spread awareness, help when it does not directly benefit you, and mostly importantly, be the change you wish to see.
