We need housing but not at the cost of paving wetlands - we've already lost over 1 million acres of wetlands in Oregon alone. This is a terrible decision for the environment and will further the social inequities already present by worsening and even causing new heat islands. This isn't an either/or equation. We NEED new housing. We don't need to pave over wetlands.
