Sovereign Grapplers

First off I would like to thank everyone who came out and trained and helped me along the way. I appreciate those of you that went above and beyond and help me to help make SG what it was.
With that being said, today is the last day of Sovereign Grapplers. It was a short lived experience and was intended to be more of a collaboration of grappling more than a traditional school. It was more of a we grow together and teach everyone at their own pace.

I have learned alot in these few months that I have been open. I have learned about business, timing, people, and how important it is to treat each other with respect regardless of differences that may arise.

What I learned the most was in my own personal growth as a student and as the head instructor of a program. (For me) I leaned that its not about whos better at what or who has better techniques but more of how you treat others and how they treat you. I learned that what I enjoyed the most was to see people happy to train. People that were happy to learn and try out new techniques. People treating others the way they would want to be treated and so forth. I learned about peoples true characters along with other things, but what I learned the most was that I was happiest when I would just sit back and watch friends, training partners, and strangers all enjoying the time on the mats together. I was happiest when I would see the kids in the program reunite with their friends and have a blast training together. I guess what I'm saying is be kind to others, be respectful and enjoy life. Thank you for your support and I hope to see you around or on the mats in the future.

Although closed SG will be slowly moving on to other endeavors so stay tuned if you are curious to see what that is... 😃
