Join us for an exciting in-person event at apothecary in Portland, OR, USA. Discover the healing power and practical application of medicinal herbs at our Herbal First Aid Workshop. Learn how to use plants to treat injuries by crafting poultices and salves with us in a collaborative space. This is a great class for those beginning their path in herbalism!

We will introduce several important local plants that can easily be grown or wild-harvested in the Pacific Northwest. You will leave this evening of medicine making with a first-aid kit of your own, and a detailed handout on the properties of the herbs we will work with + recipes to try at home.

Knowledgeable instructors Madrone McCarthy and Tessa McKee will present on their experience using wild plants to treat injuries such as staunching bleeding from an open wound, speeding up the healing process of flesh related wounds, easing sprains, breaks, sore muscles, treating bug bites, sunburns, and rashes... the list goes on.
