Another entry door transformation completed! 🚪✨

We recently replaced this old, worn-out entry door with a beautiful new Therma-Tru entry door, giving the home a fresh updated look while improving energy efficiency, security, and curb appeal.

As with all of our door installations, we carefully removed the existing door, inspected the opening for any signs of moisture intrusion or dry rot, properly flashed and sealed the opening, and installed the new door to help ensure long-term performance and protection from the Pacific Northwest weather.

Another project in progress in Milwaukie, Oregon!
A homeowner reached out to us to replace one leaking window on the front of their house due to water intrusion. After taking a closer look, we discovered the real issue wasn’t the window itself.
The problem was missing kick-out flashing where the roof meets the wall and gutter, which allowed water to run down the siding instead of directing it into the gutter. Over time, that caused minor dry rot behind the siding.
Luckily we caught it early before the damage became major.
The homeowner decided to go ahead and update the entire front of the house while we had everything opened up. We:
• Installed a beautiful new large window
• Repaired the minor dry rot
• Installed new HardiePlank siding
• Added proper flashing and weatherproofing so everything is sealed correctly
Now the water will be directed properly and the home is protected for years to come.
The front of the house already looks amazing, and once it's painted it will look even better.
