They needed a website that better described their business to potential customers, future hires and investors. The site needed to reflect their professionalism, have strong SEO and to be clear in their offerings.

It's mood board time!!

This project was so fun because the business owner had such a clear idea of what he didn't want. So my job was to uncover what he did want. He didn't want the traditional architecture website and wanted to go with a dark color scheme.

I for this logo I played with lots of different concepts that were related to the building industry. The owner is a true craftsman who is very into woodwork and metalwork and so I looked at concepts related to joinery and how things fit together.

He gave feedback on each of the logo concepts and I got a better idea of what he was looking for. Then when I presented this logo, we both knew this was it. Simple but unique, just like their business style.

For the next couple of weeks, I'll be in sunny Hawaii. Anytime I'm in need of a little perspective or reset, or let's face it, just needing some fun in my life, the beach is my magic potion, and Hawaii my happy place!
