The damage Storm Amy inflicted on farms throughout the western coasts of Europe is a reminder of why we design ocean structures for the extremes. This time two years ago we were finishing up a small IMTA (seaweed and oysters) farm design project with Open Climate Solutions and the Kilchoan Melfort Trust in Scotland. During its second season we got this awesome feedback from that client after the farm weathered Storm Eowyn (AY-oh-win).
