The world distilled through the gauze of a migraine is at once, too bright and too dull. It's heavy and pulsing and alive. It numbs the lips and clogs the ears. It swallows to the side of the tongue until breathing tastes metallic. It makes you nauseous. Makes the world spin.

It also tends to happen on weekends. Intermittently.
