Learning to type with dyslexia can be a struggle. I am proud to be an ambassador for Touch Type Read Spell, which is the only program out of 7 we tried that worked well for my own son. This program is designed for people with dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD and other learning disabilities. It follows an Orton-Gillingham based progression, and while accuracy is measured, timing is NOT. This takes the pressure off so kids can focus on learning. This program has been easy for my son to follow with very minimal supervision. It shows the words on screen and the fingerings, and also reads words aloud so there is multi sensory reinforcement and help with reading if needed. One of the great features is that you can add specific words to be taught, like a child's name or the week's current list of spelling or sight words.
This summer, TTRS is offering a great deal - 14 months for the price of 12 - for anyone purchasing a new annual subscription in June or July.
In addition, please feel free to use code CAMANDA for 10% off your annual cost. (Full disclosure, I will receive a commission - but I'd be recommending this company either way).
For more information on TTRS, please feel free to message me or see their website at
