Proud moment for the City of Portage!

Mayor Austin Bonta and General Superintendent Tracie Marshall recently attended the ACEC Indiana Engineering Excellence Awards 2026, where our team was recognized as a State Finalist for the WWTP Final Clarifier Improvements Project.

This project represents a major step forward in improving our wastewater treatment operations, and we're especially excited about the addition of a brand-new solar field, helping move our city toward more sustainable, energy-efficient infrastructure.

A huge thank you to our partners at Commonwealth Engineers for their expertise and collaboration in bringing this project to life.

We're proud to continue investing in innovation, sustainability, and the future of Portage!
