Do you know the signs of stroke? A quick way to check is to use the acronym B.E. F.A.S.T.:
Balance (B): Sudden loss of balance, dizziness, or trouble walking.
Eyes (E): Sudden vision changes, such as blurry, double, or loss of vision in one or both eyes.
Face (F): One side of the face droops or is numb, resulting in an uneven or crooked smile.
Arms (A): Sudden weakness or numbness in one arm or leg; one arm may drift downward when both are raised.
Speech (S): Slurred speech, difficulty speaking, or trouble understanding speech.
Time (T): Time to call 911 immediately if any of these signs are present.

We don't have to tell you it's going to be sub-zero COLD for the next several days. Please be sure to keep your exposure outdoors to a minimum and protect yourself if you do have to go outside. Check on your neighbors and the elderly. Bring your pets INSIDE. And know the signs and symptoms of cold weather illness. It could save your life.
