Remember Donkey?
We missed his big ears and sweet face! He too is boarding with us for a few weeks while his family travels for the summer and we're thankful they chose us to love on him just a bit longer βΊοΈ
He's quite the mover, curious and adorable π
He loves his stacking cups, so throughout the day I'll stack them back up, sometimes hide a treat in there, only for him to undo them as quickly as possible, and that became our little game π
We'll repeat this a few times a day. Sometimes he leaves us little surprises and throws them into his water bowl so they're soaked π«
We love getting to see our little friends after they're adopted, we miss each and every one of them!
He's well taken care of and we're so proud of his family β€οΈπ€

Many thanks to our supporters, you truly come through for us before we even ask for help, thank you ππ»β€οΈ

Tamaki Update - We're at a loss of words at this point.. the coordination is about 90% gone, she curves her body almost completely, front legs both splay to the left of her body, her left back leg is twisted upwards and her right leg stretches out completely, unable to be held in the right position.
Her head turns to the right side of her body, weight loss is continuing, she has an incisor malocclusion but teeth aren't overgrown, luckily.. There is discharge from her left eye, some of it we can no longer clean without having to soak it up which will stress her tremendously..
She's confined to this blanket bed of hers as she cannot hold herself up. She attempts to push herself out of it, wears herself out in the process. So we take her out, changing her pad and hold her up.
Tamaki takes about 20ml of water via syringe every morning and evening, sometimes a bit less. Pellets are offered but she has started to decline them. Greens are offered and she has a hard time chewing. We offer a freeze dried banana treat (which she LOVES), some days she'll accept others she won't bother..
She also gets antimicrobial opthalmic gel in both eyes morning and night along with pain meds daily.
But through it all, she always finds the time to lick my hand..
Unfortunately, as our hearts are breaking, she's not ok, she's not thriving, she's merely existing.. We have to make the hardest decision in rescue/sanctuary care and that's to help her cross the rainbow bridge.. this will occur Monday, unless she passes naturally.
Keep our sweet girl in your prayers, we don't have much longer with her π

Our crested geckos, Derpy and Banana, are up for adoption.
We put together a new terrarium for them, everything will be included in the adoption fee.
Both tanks are the same size, 18x18x24.
Geckos are NOT to be kept together in one home, they're to remain separate.
Please message us if interested!
Derpy is an adult, Bananas is a juvenile.
