Nothing can ever separate us from the love of God. He loves us with such a deep, passionate, jealous love....while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Nothing to do with us, but all Him. He has a reputation to uphold.

Repentance is a good thing. It brings restoration to our soul with God ❤ Let that be the change we need to be the different

Devotional day 3
Thankfulness
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
The first devotional told us why we should have a thankful heart; because Gods love has made us, covered us, is faithful to us, and will comfort and guide us. Day 2 lets us know how a thankful heart responds; by letting the love of Christ pour out into action. Day 3 is about how to keep a thankful heart. Rejoicing no matter what the circumstances are because we know that we have a faithful God that doesn't allow things to happen to us haphazardly. There is a purpose and a plan behind everything that has happened, will happen and that is happening right now. So we need to rejoice and praise God for everything that may come our way. The second thing we need to do is pray without ceasing because God's thoughts are above our thoughts and His ways are above our ways, so we may not understand some of the things that may come our way but if we stay in communion with God and trust Him we will find comfort in His arms. Also prayer helps us to abide in Him helping us to know His voice so that we don't stray away.

What an amazing time we had with all our neighbors at Lake Lisa Park!!! So many came out and laughed, danced, shot some hoops, bounced in the bouncies, but most importantly received Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Christmas is about our beautiful God coming down in the form of man, a baby...Jesus, to make a way for us to be reconciled with Himself in heaven. Not only did God make a way to give us eternal life with Him, He came down to give us an abundant life here on earth. Tell someone you know and those you don't...yet, that they are loved and have a beautiful plan and purpose.
