🤣 Facebook may have been down for a little while today... but Suds Up was still online in the real world!

While Facebook was taking a break, we were out and about cleaning carpets and tile in Port Richey and Palm Harbor. 🚐💨

No scrolling. No refreshing. No wondering if the app is working. Just good old-fashioned hard work helping homeowners get cleaner, fresher floors.

Ever wonder why parts of your carpet look "sunken" or uneven? 👀

Take a look at the right-hand corner of this photo. You can see where the carpet padding underneath has become crushed, collapsed, or broken down over time. When the padding loses its support, the carpet above it starts to sag and can develop low spots, wrinkles, and premature wear.

This is something we commonly see in older homes and in areas where furniture has sat for years. Sometimes it's simply due to age, and other times it can be the result of improper installation or low-quality padding.

One thing many homeowners don't realize is that carpet cleaning can't repair a padding problem. We can clean the carpet, but if the foundation underneath has failed, the carpet won't look or feel the way it should until the padding is addressed.

If you're noticing uneven areas, crushed spots, or sections of carpet that just don't seem to bounce back, there may be more going on beneath the surface than meets the eye.

🧼 Here's some carpet we cleaned recently in Spring Hill!

One question we get asked all the time is, "Do you clean under the bed?"

The answer is yes! We use a specialized swivel wand that allows us to reach approximately 2 feet under the bed from all sides. This lets us clean areas that collect dust, dirt, pet hair, and allergens without the need to move heavy furniture.

In many cases, this is actually the better approach because it maintains airflow under the bed and eliminates the risk of damaging furniture or flooring by moving it unnecessarily.
